ABOUT ME
I qualified with a degree in Photographic Practice in 2012 and have been passionate about creating beautiful portraits ever since. When I first left university I took on all kinds of photography including dance, corporate, events and weddings. It was only after becoming a mum myself in 2021 that I truly realised what it means to capture the moments you never want to end. This led me to focus on family, motherhood and newborn portraits.
Since launching Sophie Last Photography, I have had the privilege of meeting some amazing families and I love having the chance to capture professional photographs of the most precious moments. I believe that photos should be timeless and natural, I like to use completely natural lighting where possible, either outside, in the studio or within a home, and will work with you to create photos you love without feeling uncomfortable.
You won't find any babies in baskets, or elaborate props in my portfolio. I like to keep my newborn photography as natural and simple as possible, so that when you look back on your photos in years to come, they are a snapshot of a moment in time and looking back at them takes you straight back to that memory.
